In April of 2017, I traveled to Detroit, Michigan along with my Junior class to explore the city, document the stories of local people, and participate in service work. In small groups, we all interviewed a member of the community and returned home to tell their story through a multimedia documentary. I was responsible for editing the video below, as well as sharing in the filming and taking the pictures. This is the story of Cortez Perry, a recovering addict regaining spiritual connection and making his way down a path of redemption and renewal.
